​Diona Joyce, also known as “Tita Flips,” is a Toronto-based chef, entrepreneur, and cultural storyteller known for pioneering Filipino street food in the city. She is the founder of Kanto by Tita Flips, Mercado by Tita Flips, and co-founder of Mindanao Filipino Halal Food.

Through her food, Diona celebrates Filipino heritage by blending traditional flavours with modern street food culture, creating experiences that are vibrant, nostalgic, and community-driven. Her work has been featured through large-scale cultural events, corporate catering, food festivals, and collaborations that spotlight Filipino cuisine on a broader stage.

Driven by her belief in “evoking heritage to preserve timeless traditions and ignite cultural pride through Filipino cuisine,” Tita Flips continues to champion Filipino food and culture across Toronto and beyond.
